Very easy kids game for Sega Genesis. I played this a while ago, however, not when I was a little kid, as is the target audience but it was still enjoyable. The game is a simple scroll-screen game based off of the Disney movie The Little Mermaid. Swim through the ocean as Ariel or King Triton, watch out for killer clams, great white sharks and Ursula's eel companions and search the ocean floor for treasure, pearls and health. You must free all the merfolk that Ursula has trapped by swimming over them to progress to the next level. The environments are interesting taking elements from the cartoon like ship wreck cavities and coral reefs. Overall it's a fun game that can be completed in less than 3 hours. For the recommended audience I'm sure it would equal more game time. Gameplay – 6 (Simple scroll-screen and maze navigation) Graphics – 5 (Not the best I've seen on GEN) Sound – 4 (Pretty bad, could have been better) Playability – 8 (For the appropriate age group)
