Where do you find Donald?

I never saw him in my playthrough, but he seems to have some effect on the ending scene.

He's in Bog Easy. After you enter the 2nd area through the shop, cross over the whirlpool to the little section in the back and he was pacing back and forth near the thinner's edge. I didn't see him again after completing that episode that involved Bog Easy though.
