Dishonored E3 2012 Stage Demo

This has a very unique look and it's been awhile since I have seen this type of originality.

I'm all in on this one even if I am being drawn in by the hype and look of it, so what.

I have been waiting for something truly new and this I hope is it.

When I say this game has aspects from Bioshock, Assassins Creed, and HL2, I'm not saying that because I feel like its copying those games, I say it because it does have some of those qualities, and that does excite me. This game looks really fantastic and really unique and I definitely can't wait to play it. There have been too many iffy games lately where I've bought them and they have just been hyped so misleadingly but the pure creativity of this game excites me and if it lives up to everything I've seen then I'll be a very happy man.

Why do I keep having towatch ads for IE9, I have it for gods sake!

I'm sure there will be a level system that grants you these godly powers, there's absolutely no way all of the powers will be availible from start (that would be terrible game design). So stop nagging about the difficulty please.

This looks so sick, it definitely got my attention with the creepy yet amazing trailer they released. Pre-ordering immediately.

I hope they are playing on easy. 

I want to posses rats and just run through town like that! XD

Cool, but I'm kinda worry about challenge this game can offer. I mean, the way your character moves is godly.......

And Fuck you IE 9. People have moved on beyond you on to better things and also whats the point of car in your ad to be quite honest. Typical american ad makes no sense but has to be cool.

You can possess a fish and use it to get by enemies?! Sold. This game, Hitman Absolution, and Assassins Creed 3 all in the same year. Is going to be a great year to play as an assassin. I am glad the stealth genre is still around.

Cool I always wanted to be a werefish

This game came our of no where in my radar, instantly became on the 3 games I am hoping to buy in the remainder of 2012!

i know that they have a lot of time to add and touch up so i'll say this.

i really hope they add and touch up on this game. I expect much more from such prestigious game makers. 

Right now i just have to decide which menu i like more between this and Bioshock Infinite.

I'm extremely glad that there's still new IPs in the works, and I'm pleased to hear there's companies still focusing on single-player only games, but I have to admit, I'm a little worried about this game.

It looks great and all, but I guess I'm just concerned about the difficulty level.

You can teleport, possess (and *somehow* move your *own* body), stop time, see through walls (yes *another* game), see vision cones, easily brush aside guards in close-range combat etc.

It's starting to look to me like there might not be any challenge at all to this game.  I don't want another game that plays itself.

On that note however, I *am* glad that you can go through the game without killing anyone.  It's a little something extra you can dangle in front of yourself to ramp up the challenge, and there'll be a Steam achievement in it.

Also, is it just me who doesn't actually *like* having the choice of doing a mission 3/4/5 different ways?  I don't want to have to *replay* sections of the game to see all the content in the game I paid for.  It's a very annoying way to add replay value I think, same goes for power/ability limitations when there's no New Game+

It was almost a pain to explore *everywhere* in Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

Man, I've been dreaming of getting a power like Blink since I faced the zombie teleporters from Singularity. It looks like an empowering movement mechanic. And what he said about going all the way for SP, you sir deserve my money!

The problem with games that are built for more than one playing style, is that both are good but not great or that one of them is really bad. I think that up until now, the first Deus Ex was the only one that came close to doing it right. Of course we'll have to wait and see, but I would really like for the stealth part to be done right. There are plenty of pure action games.

All the whining and ppl yet don't realize this is a DEMO, still they should have put darker graphics. Still I'm waiting to see what the final product would look like, I hope this is a good game by far the gameplay mechanics have fully bought me.

The graphics are too cartoonish looking.... I'm a huge steath fan though, so I might just pre-order this today.

The style of this game is way too cutesy looking for me. Not at all what I was expecting. I was hoping for something a LOT darker looking.

This made me lose all interest :( Moving on...

"you magically fuse with the fish.............somehow." Ha ha, but who cares, its about the mechanics & variety, so its all good
