There's more to Dishonored than gruesome murder and stealthy assassinations. We sat down with Arkane Studios' art team to discuss the creation of their steampunk-inspired beauty.
@jameshors: Bethesda? It's being developed by Arkane Studios. Honestly, why do publishers get so much praise for milking on games others have made?
haha, Harvey Smith the "brain" behind System Shock. Where the hell are you getting your info gamespot?
I really hope this will be good, I love these tactical type games. Linear style games just don't cut it for me anymore, too simple.
Glad to see Arkane Studios putting together a new IP. Really enjoyed Dark Messiah and it's nice to see them taking what they've learned and applying it to their own work. Looking forward to this.
looks promising will wait for more details .. oh and dunno why but whenever i see that blood-splattered Dishonored logo i remember the logo of Dragon Age games .
Looks somewhat akin to Bioshock, and by that I mean that it seems like a very distinguished first-person experience that borrows from the past. The world they've created here is gorgeous, and their keen attention to lighting, texture, and the overall architectural design emulating England from the '40s should all be commended. I hope the final product is as good as this small glimpse suggests, but this is whetting my appetite.
Looks like they're putting a lot of effort in to it. I hope it doesn't end up being another 6 hour game.
"Dishonored doesn't quite look like any game you've seen before" -Instantly thinks of Assassins Creed and Bioshock_ I do really like the art style though :)
I'm certainly getting increasingly interested in this game. Will be good to see some lengthy game footage.
I am really looking forward to this game and everything I've read and seen so far tell's me that it will be a unique experience. Also,I love the background music and I hope that it's actually in game soundtrack.
