Hi Maxwell. I hope you see this... I have been trying to watch the replay of the Metal Gear marathon. No matter what I do, whether it be stream or download, I can't get it to work. The download stop about a third of the way through. Is there any other way to watch it? Sorry to bother you. I'm sure you're super busy and all so I'd greatly appreciate a response if possible. Thanks.

You asked the hard questions, and we give you the hard answers about Dishonored, the ambitious new game from Arkane.
if this game is anything like Assassin's Creed or Deus Ex i'm all hooked.
@wilhelmalexis that's plain stupid. if you ever held a gun, any gun in your hands you'd know it's impossible to train yourself based on video games. i mean just holding one, not necessarily shooting. there's no amount of realism in video games that can show you how to shoot a weapon.
looks interesting new IPs have a great feeling, really like when FPS is used correctly it makes the game feel allot more immersive and realistic, like Far Cry 2 ( the game's not the best but really like how you never leave FPS and getting in and out of vehicles and opening most doors keeps you in real time, no teleporting into cars)
@Maxwell Maxwell, it was revealed recently that the Norwegian mass murderer Anders Behring Breivik played CoD MW and Warcraft to train and prepare himself to commit terrorism. Perhaps you can write an article on this and get people to discuss? What do you think?
@Maxwell Hmmm... Ah, well it's not the end of the world I suppose. It still looks amazing. I'll wait for your reviews too. Oh, and by the way, I was really upset to hear about Tom Magrino. My heart goes out to him and his family. I wish the best of luck to the them and to you all. Thanks.
@PCsama I'm pretty sure you won't be able to change anything about your character, sorry. @Gamer_4_Fun I could better address that question had I been given the chance to play the game; from what I've seen the protagonist has some really nice death blow animations (stabbing people in the neck) and their are animations to go along with all the powers. However, when picking up items in the environment the objects just disappear--your character does not visibly pick them up. @wilhelmalexis I see what you did there... @push88 From what I've seen there is not a sticky cover system, or cover system of any kind (besides just standing behind an object, I suppose). @massamuneblade2 No worries
@GameSpot thanx you guys for this review and answering players questions ..i have one question in dishonored can we play as a Female assassin?!!
i like how the guy next to Raphael Colantonio looks so awkward to the point the camera man blocks him out. *thumbs up* cant wait for hands on demo!
Since I played Fallout3, I was dreaming of a game that is similar to it, but a steampunk style. And now here it is, I am indeed the center of the universe XD.
All the trailer shows is a rehashed Assassin's Creed in a steampunk world instead of medieval Italy. Since the trailer was CGI and NOT actual gameplay, I will reserve judgment until I actually see what the game itself will look like.
Should be a pretty neat game, and answering the questions; fantastic. Lots of clipping on their voices, though the rest of the sound is fine, the occasional buzz from Shaun is messin with my brain. Bit more compression next time.
Third person is better for sneaking? Either I'm getting old or I need to buy this bloke a copy of Thief :(
I was ready to ignore this game completely when i saw the name Bethesda.. then i looked up info on the game and realized they were only publishing the game, someone else made it. Not to say that means it will flawless, but as long as Bethesda has kept it's game ruining hands off of it's development, i have at least a bit of hope for it.
So you run over rooftops in first person, sneaks around and kill people jumping from buildings!! :) Looks like a mix of Mirrors Edge, Splinter Cell and Assassins Creed!! Excellente credentials!! Looking forward to it!!
seriously next upcoming original game would be a Co-op Massive Single RP- FPS hack'n'slash Adventure Spy assassination Apocalypse Fantasy-Horror Game...... XD
What about the animation, does the animation convey that you ARE the character and not just a FPS camera. For example Far Cry 2 with it's animation made it look like your the protagonist.
Forget Dishonoured, when is the release date for Shaun's Magical Elfpunk Adventures Pt. 7, The Reckoning? Super hyped for that!
Bethesda's gotta be my least favorite gaming outfit, but if they can get Arkane to release some new titles...so be it. I'm pleasantly surprised Arkane is even still in existence. Its been ages since Dark Messiah....ages and ages since Arx Fatalis. I do hope Bethsoft isn't too douchey to let them make another proper RPG...
@johnd13 While I still respect the company, they have been acting a lot more like EA lately: sewing fans, treating their developers like crap, denying Obsidian a bonus over 1 metacritic point, firing "unnecessary" staff, and much more. Even taking THAT out of the equation, not everything they produce is gold: Pirates Of The Caribbean, Wet, Rogue Warrior, Brink, Hunted, and others, are all examples. This still looks very good, I wont deny that, but without any gameplay footage, how can you be certain?
@fotis52 A lot of the footage we used is taken from the CG trailer because Bethesda has released very little gameplay. So take that with a grain of salt!
Well, I can't say that I loved the setting, the weapons or the superpowers, but if these graphics are for real and if the gameplay is solid, I will give it a shot....
Nice to play a truely FPS stealth game again. I just loved Escape From Butcher Bay where you are always in fps view.
so, half life 2 combine cars and striders+assassins creed+thief 2's time and era+singularity's TMD-thingy+hitman+bioshock......lookin forward to it
Also Dishonored is looking better and better Even if it's an assassin's creed/thief/bioshock mash-up, those are great sources to work from Let's hope it lives up to the hype
