- "Worth playing"
Ever since Bioshock came out back in 07' I never thought I would play a game that would hook me the way it did. Of course there was Bioshock 2, but that was more of a cash grab than anything else. Dishonored is the first experience since Bioshock that has brought me into an immersive world.
You play as a man named Corvo Attano, who is accused of killing Empress Jessamine Kaldwin of the city Dunwall, at the same time princess Emily Kaldwin is kidnapped. You soon realize that the kidnapping/murder is an inside job. The story is more of a revenge story driven by likable characters and fun interaction with the world. Though it is more focused on political bureaucracy, it still has its action-packed moments. Thats whats great about this game, is the balance between story and action. It might not have a shocking twist, but it has some really cool a hah moments. The gameplay is pretty unique, Corvo acquires a crossbow, gun, grenades, a sword, and magic as well as various traps you can use to kill targets along the way, the weapons and magic can be upgraded as well to excel your abilities along the way. On a cautionary note try not to kill that many civilians because your actions effect the outcome of the game.
The graphics also complement the atmosphere. It might not be the prettiest game, but it fits the setting perfectly and because of that it looks gorgeous.
Though there are some cool aspects to it, its not without its flaws. One flaw I found in the game, is that npc's tend to glitch from time to time. This flaw can sometimes seriously hinder the experience, especially when you are trying to do a stealth run through the level.
Dishonored is a fun and unique experience that will require multiple playthroughs to try everything out, and its well worth a buy.

It's a great game with tremendous potential. Too short and easy. Wait for a sale.
