IS there anything wrong with taking soem of the strongest elements from 2 great games, dressing them up in differnt clothes and calling them a new game?
Not, if they are as much fun as Dishonored, I'd argue!
Blend the stealth and gadgetry of Batman with the plasmids of bioshock, drop it into a steam punk esque world and that sums up this game.
I can see why people think its short but if you play the game every way you CAN then you;ll get a lot of life from this, some serious challenge (on the harder settings) and a lot of fun!
The level design is intelligent in that you can see there are routes / methods you can take, but you always have a choice of how to do things on the fly, although this can depend on that abilities you've unlocked.
Also, the achievements really help the replay value here as the goals they promote steer you into playing a particular way.
Clearly the real depth / challenge in the game comes from stealthy exploration but i'd suggest, as Yahtzee does, having 2 types of game on the go at once so you can get murderous on the other save!
the nice surprise here was finding the occasional side quest that rewarded with small perks / bonuses.
All in all Ive really enjoyed this game so reccomend it completely!
Although on the surface a pedestrian pace you have the means of causing carnage at will!
