Should I infect the bootleg elixir?

Does infecting the bootleg elixir count against the clean hands achievement?

It does not, but it makes the next mission slightly harder by spawning in more weepers. It's up to you what you want to do.

I'd say go for it though, because doing that gets you another rune to spend.
