Aside from the Skeleton Key, is there any other way inside the broadcast area?

I had wanted to play through on my own, without any guides, but apparently that wasn't so wise of a choice.

No previous saves to fall back on while within the previous mission, so the key is lost to me. Is there any other way to get inside? I would prefer to continue my no-killing spree.
