    May someone tell me which disgaea games are sequels or if each one has it's own story? I know there are some spin offs... but is disgaea 2 the sequel to this one? and 3 and 4? or is it like dragon quest and final fantasy with its own independant story? Thanks for your time

    The main 4 Disagea (1, 2, 3 and 4) are all independent stories, however some characters can make a cameo appearance, mainly in the postgame.

    So it were just cameos what I saw in pics? Cool, then im going to buy DS disgaea, I was always interested on this game, thank you ^^

    disgaea 2 could be considered a direct sequel, since one of the main characters in this game is also a protagonist in D2
