Compared to the rest of the better games in the market, Disgaea has a very minimalist design and animation that's quite unappealing to the eye at first glance. However, if you're already familiar with this title, you would know that the winning formula is not in its look, but in its queerly addictive gameplay.

Though it lacks a tad lot in the visual sense of word, Disgaea: AoD still has an attractive cast of characters whom look quite adorable in their still pics, accompanied by several moments of humorous story dialogue. Ah yes, voice acting is excellent for all characters in this game, which brings a little life to their motionless iconic forms.

Lastly, it features quite a lot of stuff to do in Netherworld, as other than the main story quest, you can steer off into the Item World, Dark Assembly and other alternate worlds like Prinny Land and the Human World to further enrich your gaming experience. Well and of course, to level up to ridiculous levels of the hundreds and thousands if you have the time to spare. It's worth your bucks definitely if you're into RPGs.
