It was a choice between this or champions of norrath. And well, personally i think i chose the rite option. From the first cutscene (if that's wat u call em) i new that this was like nothing i had ever played.
You can form your army from something 180 different classes, with the addition of the major characters like Lyharl, Etna and Flonne. However you can only field 10 in the space of a battle.
As well as the main story there are sidequests to complete, weapons to master, troops to buy and train and a dark senate to crush under your grip.
This game could keep even the most experianced players going for years, but its certainely not for those without patience. This is without a doubt one of those games where you get back as much as you put in.
