Does the level of the item god affect the stat increase the item gets?

I'm trying to power up for the fight with Baal. I have a L. testament that I've gotten to lvl 200, now I'm farming the item god for stats. While I have a ton of exits (item world is perfect for farming them while making my own characters stronger) I want to make sure I'm doing this the best way. I notice all my stats go up by ~1300 every time, and I notice that the item god is usually lvl 1300+. If I pass all the stronger enemy bills, will that make me gain more stats or does it matter?

no. the level of the Item God doesn't matter. furthermore, u should be levelin a Trapezohedron instead of the Testament. saves u a lot of time in the end. the sidestories are littered with them if ur far enough in post-game.
