No Colin,But annoying voices!

The Colin Mcrea name is gone as it is now all American, With its awful music and annoying voiced narration (whoa dude!,Awesome!, Oh shut up!) I have turned off "voices" in the main menu.
Anyway,The game is excellent fun! and that's what games should be like,It is fast and the graphics wizz by quite realistically, and with it's great looking 'dust' cloud effect makes the experience very thrilling(also look out for the blokes running to the other side of the track)
It also has some superb weather effects ranging from rain to heavy snow,And splashing through a rain puddle splatters water on the windscreen as it did in "Grid 2".
And rallying on snow and mud feels just right as you can imagine the wheel struggling for grip and the 'feeling' of riding over snow bumps,Plus the feedback from the pad works well.
The handling at first took me a time to get used to as the cars seemed to slip and slide all over,It seemed the handling was better in Dirt 2, BUT you get used to the controls and you'll be doing powerslides and drifting in no time! and unlike me into a tree! Hahaha!.
The racing feels authentic with a little arcade feel as is the case in most of the 'Dirt' games, and the 'flashback' feature makes it's return,Also it's nice to see the AI drivers make mistakes, they hit the barriers, spin,or even end up on their roofs! Nice to see,as most racers the AI are above elite drivers and drive a predetermined route on the track.
Online everything is present and correct with a capture the flag mode, split screen and all the other usual racing modes. And a feature where you can upload a particually spectacular crash! to 'Youtube'.
All in all excellent game,But please codies ditch the 'surfing' dude talk.
