DiRT 3

needs more depth

Its hard for me to sit here and bash on the game because its not a bad game, its just not a game everyone will like. Decent graphics, races are fun, and the addition of the new events such as gymkhana, the speed runs and brick breaker (forgot actual names) as well as the DC challenges add some dimension to the game. Downside is that the game gets very repetitive after completing all the extras and with the amount of races in the campaign there is no incentive, aside from new liveries for your vehicles, to keep playing. No upgrades, personalization's or really anything to keep someone interested other than the want to improve a best time or score.

About 140 races in, 100% platinum medals, and all DC challenges complete, I no longer have any motivation to continue playing. If the game just had a bit more to play around with it could be really good. Other reviews coincide with what i'm saying, people either really like it, or they don't.
