Dirt 2 Demo Trailer 5 (Wii)

I don't believe that this game will release only in December and with pix shader 5

@ SicklySunStorm - I was very fond of the original Dirt demo 2 years back. The demo at least looked better then this demo and performed far better. Maybe I play too many types of racing titles on multiple platforms and my judgement is clouded. Motorstorm is Motorstorm, that game is the modern Road Rash on four wheels. Game is good but nothing on par with Dirt like games. I'll see how this game pans out. It will still might be a purchase for me though since I collect games. Might pick it up on PC instead to see how DX 11 plays out.

@ MERGATROYDER - remember, you've played a demo, not the whole game. I thought the demo for Dirt was rubbish, but loved the actual game. Same goes for both Motorstorm and MS : Pacific Rift on PS3, the demos were awful IMO, but the games themselves were great. You should wait to rent the whole game at least before bashing it... I do agree with you on the point about the missing actual great WRC drivers... this game has been stunted to appeal to the North American market for sure... as long as the game itself plays well though, I can overlook that. Looking forward to giving this demo and the real game a spin, gonna download the demo in a second :)

So i just played the demo for about an hour and with hundreds of hours invested into Dirt 1, this is crap. The original not only looks better visually, it performs twice as good. I feel like I'm playing a dumbed down version of Grid off-road. Oh, and when did Dave Mirra become a professional driver? None of the dudes in this game can compete with the likes of the great WRC drivers. I was going to put off buying a couple of titles to get this game and spend weeks pouring my all into it, but now I might pass on it all together. This is a fail in my book for a game that could have been so much more.

I already have Section 8, FIFA 10, MW2 and Forza 3 pre-ordered - although this looks sick i think it'll have to take the sidelines for a couple months. Btw anyone who's played the demo today - when the dude says "Welcome to Dirt 2" did it not seem like he was gonna say more to you but never does? lol

is this head to head on line?? or like the past one, you running alone, with your friends on line but nobody but you on the track!!!!

I agree with Moethemammoth....too many good games this year.
