Collin mcR Dirt (1) was a great game with lots of beautiful graphics and a quick learning curve, that game was very enjoyable the whole 5 hours or so it took to complete the whole singleplayer.

But Dirt 2 is a other concept, the singleplayer mode is very fun and has alot more tracks than dirt 1 had, there are alot of cars in this game but unfortunly just a few cars/rides are worth buying in the singleplayer mode, the first cars you buy can very much carry you thru the whole singleplayer career.

This game is very beautiful, up to date it´s the best looking rally game (dirt 1 holds the 2:nd most beautiful rally title!) and for most it feels like it has a steady number of FPS even thru there is a lot of blend/blur or any other effect, the only slowdown it has is online but that could very well be some opponents fault with a slow connection.

The online multiplayer is very acssessable, just go and join a game with your profile, but the number of games you can join and the amount of players can sometimes be a little thin, it wouldnt surprice me if the numbers of players should grow quite a bit in a few months when this is a rather new game and christmas is upcoming.
The worst thing with online playing is your opponents, they´ll try running you over or push you out of the way ewry single chance they have, just a few race are possible without contact and a handfull players are playing fair, so playing online is most about pushing other players off the road so they loose a few pts. (and hopefully you ern a few..) Your best chance of winning a game is on the tracks with no contact.

The handling of the cars is what you should expect from a rally game, most cars over-steer very hard but thats the way a rally car take a curve while you flatout on gravel and dirt. On asphalt most cars fleel very loose and unprecise, but all on all this game has a uniqe feel, as you hit a small whaterpool or some gravel you feel it, the handling is somewhat the real-deal next to reality.
