A surprisingly good FinalFantasy related shooter type game.

I bought this not really knowing what to expect but I soon found it to be surprisingly good. You play the role of Vincent Valentine (as you would expect form the cover) as he tries to defeat the evil sviets and learn of the being he can become, Chaos. DOC features Square Enix's signature CG animated cutscenes, aswell as the return of some of the original FF7 characters (along with some new characters), and a great and memorable story. The game features real-time combat, with guns being your main weapons in battle, along with the choice of switching to melee combat or transforming into the Gilean Beast. To summarize this game is an extension to the FinalFantasy VII story (but not an RPG) where you play as Vincent Valentine, though if you're looking for the traditional FinalFantasy experience this is not for you. I would recommend this game to any fans of the FinalFantasy franchise or anyone looking for good yet short thrill.
