Its surprisingly good.

User Rating: 8.5 | Din's Curse: Demon War PC
Din`s Curse is a hack and slash isometric RPG, where you take control of a condemned soul that is searching for redemption. Din, a powerful god, gives you the chance to redeem yourself and gain a second chance by saving realms from foul creatures that live under them.

Each one of these realms has been built over a network of dungeons (yeah, not the smartest people around) that are full of the foulest creatures blah blah blah, you know the drill...

You can generate your character out of a bunch of well known clases like warrior or rouge, or you can created your character by mixing skills from two different clases, allowing a lot of personalization that will suit most gamestyles.

So far nothing mindblowingly new or interesting, but we are getting there. This game has a dinamic quest system, where all the time monsters are plotting the demise of your kingdom, making allegiances with other monsters, building artifacts that will hinder your dungeon delving, planning attacks agaist the village or actually attacking the village among other things. This makes it feel like what you do actually matters in the game (because it totally does), and creates a sense of urgency all the time (because there totally is).

On the other hand the village habitants also have needs, some of them need something that can only be found in the dungeon, some of them want revenge, some of them need an escort, etc.

Both these features deepen the experience somehow, making dins curse an enjoyable game, probably on par with torchlight.

Now its faults: not much to say here... this game has awful graphics (it looks like ass), even for a indie game they are slightly above average, and the music and sounds dont really shine. But i guess both issues could be fixed with a bigger budget in a sequel.

So in conclusion, Din`s Curse is a strong and ambitious game that deserves the time of anyone interested in the genre, it goes above and beyond what any hack and slash isometric RPG has tryed before, exept maybe Soldaks entertainment other good game Depths of Peril and it succeds in what it wants to be. So what are you waiting for? If you are still reading this review it means that you are interested and youll enjoy the game for a while, its only 20 bucks after all, and you are looking at a lot of hours of fun, if you can stand the graphics that is...
