Are you kidding, Gamespot? Haven't you noticed that this is a free roaming shooter with dinosaurs? This game is awesome!

User Rating: 8.5 | Gun Survivor 3: Dino Crisis (w/ GunCon2) PS2
Dino Stalker is a Time Crisis-style shooter but it is a lot better because it's free roaming and it has dinosaurs. What could be nicer than exploding raptor's head off with a rocket launcher and see the blood flying? Maybe doing the same with a electric bazooka? Anyway, a war lieutenant Mike Wired's plane gets shotted down and just when Mike is about to hit the ground, some kind of time machine transfers him into a prehistoric jungle. Then the action begins with shooting some raptors and later on even Carnotaurs and T-Rex's. Mike will also meet a mysterious girl Pola who knows more than she tells. The graphics are very good and the dinosaurs look fierce. The music is fitting and sound effects fill the game perfectly. The free roaming gameplay is an awesome thing and beats easily Time Crisis' rail-like running. The weapon collection is large and there are more commons ones like a pistol and machine gun and more rare and powerful ones like bazookas, electric guns, mini guns and double rocket launchers. Controls are pretty easy and the game is funnier to play with a light gun bit it is still good with a Dualshock version 2 (TM). The biggest problem is games shortness. The game has about 8 levels and the levels are long but i passed the game in one day in about...errr...5 or even less hours. The game isn't too easy which is good and the final boss battle is challenging in every difficult. Overall, Dino Stalker is very underrated shooter and how can a game with dinosaurs and massive guns be bad? No god - damn way.
