Capcom Does It Again

User Rating: 9 | Dino Crisis (PlayStation the Best) PS
The first time I slid this disc into my PS1, I was hoping that it would be a great game. I also was hoping that it wouldn't be an RE clone with zombies being replaced by dinosaurs. My hopes came true, and Dino Crisis became an instant classic. Here's why I love this game.

Gameplay: The gameplay is very remeniscent of Resident Evil. You control your character through the perspective of what looks to be like a security camera. Shooting and puzzles are alot like Resident Evil's, like I said before, but that's not a bad thing at all. This game has top-notch gameplay that's good for any Resident Evil fan.

Graphics: These are some of the best graphics for its time. In-game visuals are great, but where it truly shines is its cinematics. The cinematics can be breath-taking at times and looks very good.

Sound: Great for the PS1. The dinosaurs sound like you would imagine, and dialouge is great. Not much to say about sound, except that it's good.

Story: You play as a spec-ops soldier along-side your squad, hunting down a supposedly dead scientist that has been doing illegal experiments on a jungle island. Upon your arrival, you rendevous with your squad on the beach, except one of your men is missing. Then another cinematic kicks in showing that soldier being killed by a T-Rex. You and your squad arrive at a security checkpoint where they find all of the security personell dead. This is where you begin playing.

This gam is great so i'm giving it a 9.
