Nice RE type of game
*Instead of zombies you have dinosaurs... a little change but over all the dinosaurs are thougher to kill.
*Its not a city where the story take place but a cross between a high tech research facility and a jungle... sometime you get one or the other or somtimes you get them both mixed up in one.
*It not located in the 20th or 21st century but rather the prehistoric past on earth. So now you get why they have dinosaurs as the antagonists of the game.
The similiarities are the same in reagard of gameplay, weapons, sound and other little details like the "OK" 3D graphics of the gameplay and the awsome (in comparison) FMV sequences that help ilustrate the game´s stroy. Also the obejective is practically the same... shoot everything in your way till you get out alive... although this is a more 2from A to B" type of game in comparison with RE, so you won´t have to go back and forth alot like you did in RE: Nemesis or the prior ones.
Overall the games nice... if you like the PS1 RE games... you´ll probably like this one too.
