Great fun at first, then it turns tedious.

In Diner Dash, you take on the part of the character Flo. Her mission is to save the restaurant from bankruptcy, by serving the customers menus, meals, treats – and keeping them calm, both when queuing for a table, when seated, when waiting for their meal, and when waiting for the check. At times, it's a bit of a frantic time management game, but once you get the hang of it, it honestly turns a bit boring. It's fairly easy, and then it's just smooth sailing from there on out. I will admit that it is addictive, and that's probably why I wound up spending $19.99 on getting it in the first place..

You have a certain goal for each shift, and you have to make enough money to get through to the next level. You get to buy updates that aid you in your time management. If you make "combos" – do the same action in a row, you earn extra cash. One of the easiest ways to make it through the levels is taking the time to fill the seats with the same colored clothed people, giving you a cash bonus.

It's good fun, but like I said, it quickly turns boring.
