My 1st Digimon Game, and unfortunately it didn't give me a good impression

User Rating: 7 | Digimon Championship DS
Digimon World Championship is actually quite addicting in the 1st few weeks, but after that you'll kinda only enjoy it once in a while.
Basically you're a tamer who wants to be the best out there.
To train Digimon you switch them from cage to cage to improve their stats, you feed them, keep them from getting sick, and you watch them battle.
Starting off you can only have a few digimon, and they can't eveolve fully into their Mega forms unless you win enough Tournament Matches.

Your success in this game relies on your tamer rank which is only increased by winning tournament matches, some of these matches have certain criteria for the digimon allowed, and others have no restrictions.
Your digimon can evolve into various forms and whatnot depending on how you train them, they won't evolve fully if you have a low Tamer Rank.
Also if your rank is low you'll be restricted to how you can train your digimon.
A real pain is that the game gives you no guidelines on how to evolve your digimon into different evolutions.
Also if you pass your capacity for Digimon allowed when one digivolves, and random digimon will be deleted with no confirmation on your end.
Another let down is that you can't trade digimon with other people who own this game.
Wi-Fi is extremely desolate, and I doubt you'll find someone to battle online.

The Good:
A fun hunting system
You can store you extra digimon back in the digi-world, and pick them up when you want
Plently of digimon, and evolutions
The Bad:
Training can be a real bore
You have to sweep up digi-crap or your digis may get sick
Criteria for some matches can be a real pain, since you can only enter tournament matches at certain times in the year.

If you really wanna try this game just outta curiousity like me, get it for a good price. I got mine for $13
