Diddy Kong Racing Is A Passable Racing Game

Diddy Kong Racing is easily seen as a rip off from Mario Kart 64, however players will find Diddy's game has a small story to it, wheras Mario you just race. The story in Diddy isn't really saving it or making it better, its just there. DKR concept is simply enough, finish first in each race and collect ballons to unlock more tracks and eventually take on the boss of each world of tracks. Sound easy? Well there is more to it, after beating the five tracks and boss you will race on the tracks again but this time your collecting silver coins. These coins are a nightmare to collect on the later tracks and will easily diminish your chances of placing first, which you must do to win. These may sound very unfair but its where DKR difficulty really steps up. After easily beating the races the first time, its like the game heared you call it easy as hell and then throws in the silver coins and laughs in face and you fail miserably. It you manage to stick it out though there really is much of a reward but at least you can pat yourself on the back for the effort.
