Made it look too WoW for me... I like the darkness of the older games, and the character classes much better... but I may give this one a chance...
Diablo is heaven, Silina33. Which is a little something I call ironic. I like DEVS that care about games. Even if they call the game hell; I say it's heaven.
this really does look superb, and I will look forward to getting round to playing this at some point. I'm just gutted that it requires a constant internet connection, as this would have been SUCH an ideal game to play on my gaming laptop, out and about during the summer etc.
With a whole family of gamers & all these awesome games coming out around the same time (( Diablo3...GW2 ))....this is going to be an expensive month! lol:) But how COOL to be able to play with my sons...one in Denver....the other in Michigan & friends in Indiana, ALL at the same time! :)--> Everyone loves this game!
I wasn't too concerned when I first heard about it (luckily I haven't been one of those eagerly waiting years for it) but now it's close to launch I'm getting excited. I'm completely new to the Diablo series. I think it looks great (including the graphics). That's the good thing about games with this sort of angle - they don't have to look great close up and it means the effects are generally well produced.
I'll roll a Witch Doctor as a natural progression from WoW lock and I'm hoping that minus all of the fillers that WoW had, this should be a lot more casual.
Got the game already downloaded... I'm gonna run home after work Monday night like it's Charlie & the Chocolate Factory...

When you go to the store to buy yours, look at the people at the front of the line with a copy... those are the people who have done nothing but talk crap about D3. Cya in game, assholes!
STFU about the damn graphics! FINE, don't frikkin' buy it. But this style is extremely scale-able which means people with old computers don't have to go for broke on an expensive new computer. Go play Crysis 2 ffs.
IF these are the release in-game graphics then I cant believe iw asted my money on the pre-order -_-;; Blizzard's obsession with cheesy carton "3D' graphics is appalling! When 2nd generation games (D2) vastly out-class the current 3rd generation in visuals you knwo its time to buy that gun and just give up now!!!
