so for exploding palm the first two stages of attack only deal damage...but they say they will make it so you can mix and match skills and use the stage 1 and 2 of a different skill then stage 3 of another skill. so what's the point of using stage 1 and 2 of exploding palm if you can use stage 1 and 2 of another more useful attack.?

I just hope the game will worth the wait! I just hope they won't screw it up in the end :))! I know I'll save some money with D3 and put wow on pause for a while :D

The Monk class reminds me of Orus from D2. Except that he was a mage... He's cool, he's cool. For me he is a mix of eastern Orthodox Church culture (the beard and staff) and Indian culture (the "third eye" on his forehead) combined with some kick ass shaolin abilities.

seriously.... a monk in a demonic world!!! I just cant picture it.... Being a huge fan of D and D2 I just think that a karate/kung fu monk is not right in this world of demons, skeletons, undead etc.... Will he defeat diablo with a simple punch or a spinning kick!?!?!... That is not the way to battle hordes of foul creatures in my opinion. I must say.. I'm a little disapointed. What do you think???

Wuhoooo... Can't wait for some good old hack and slash button smashing. But with wack wack wack graphics and truely awesome characters. Way to pull it of Blizz. Love ya!

Diablo 3 looks so sick

I'm still into the sorceress, but this one is good too.

Screw Diablo, what we're all really interested about is the release date for that sandwasp shmup.

If you really think about it, Diablo 1 and 2 had a more darker and kryptic tone becuase in the game, The world was going through dark times, evil was everywhere and in diablo 2 destroy all the evil in the world and so in diablo 3 you're seeing a land that is looking more lighter in color and less evil. So i think that the art direction blizzard made goes perfect with the way the story has been flowing so far. And im sure by the time we get to hell its going to be just as kryptic as the rest of the diablo series.

I definately like the look of the monk class - very different to the Monk classes you find in other MMO games. I also really like how they didn't just do something and think "That's done" - when they saw room for improvement, they simply made it better. I wasn't particularily intterested in Diablo III before I saw this video, but now I'll be keeping my eyes open.

In the gameplay videos they got on their home/website seems to me that the game is already completed, but they won't release it until they have agonize us a while first. I'm dying to buy this game, i really hope it will come out before Christmas.Dont wanna wait to a new year >

well in diablo2 it wasnt impossible, though you did need lots of good magic find gear to begin with, that was a problem, the good stuff was just way too hard to find, it made the game a bit repetitive with the constant boss runs, i hope this will be much less linear and lots more actual REPLAY value

Am I the only one who got a Joss Whedon vibe from the presenters? And since this is a highlight reel, basically, where is the total presentation?

Does Diablo3 will be like Diablo2? almost impossible to drop good items for characters and lots of people have to buy armors swords etc...from the Internet, that was real rubish.

This is just rubbish talk. Give something more about the game then showing unnecessary 18 minute video. But hey isn't this Blizzard's way of making the game more popular...

Why they didnt make a druid . I really like the one from Diablo 2 and WoW.

Ive never really like the monk theme, but this looks a fun class to use. still assassin > monk.

I'd rather they didn't release this much information so early... still another 2 years or more before this game is out.

Too many goos characters, can't choose which one to start the game with. Game looks amazing like it's prequels.

i wasnt excpecting this class.. i tought that it would be some paladin/amazon copy :D but Blizzard isnt lying to us, this character is just assassin copy and they said that there are no returning chracters.. same with witchdoctor and mage

hope they take their time until the game's gonna be perfect, the developers work looks really great !
