@Dan_the_Dragon um.. i played both torchlight and diablo.. and torchlight is filled with lack of information and bugs.. should i also say that diablo's story is addictive while torchlight's is just a rip-off of a 10 years old game named um... what is it again... oh yeah Diablo 1 (sarcasm)
@DrizztDoUrden16 Crazy? It looked pretty tame to me. Then again I'm not the one playing. But I can't wait to see this on Nightmare (because I think they're only showing us Normal right now).
Dang... the 4 player co-op looks insane. The single player looks so slow after watching how crazy it gets with 4. Im going to murder my brother if he doesnt buy this and play w me... But people please stop comparing diablo with all these torchlight, dungeon siege, fate, and other stupid copies of... what game they copy again? Oh yeah DIABLO!
This looks amazing, definitely a step up in the Diablo franchise. If anyone has ever played Titan Quest before(which was basically an amzing D2 clone similar to this), Diablo 3 is looking like an even more amazing version of that game! I think D3 definitely seems to have kept it's dark edge well, I don't know what people are complaining about. Lets face it though, people are resistant to change, sometimes I think people would rather just power level over and over in D2, or run Chaos Sanctuary or Baal runs over and over, rather than actually pick up a new game that is much more involved gameplay wise.
Not even gonna touch this crap. They better not make it at all. Its like wow slusher. Childish characters the enemies are laughable and the earie descend of diablo 1 is gone forever. This rip off with childish aesthetics is better not called diablo at all. The rtards may like it but gamers like me that were raised with good games like diablo 1 will not even pay any more attention to this money seeking rip off.
I love how good this game looks...but not in this trailer or with this character. I got bored after a while. I think the other classes look much more interesting.
This game looks tight. I'm going to create a demon hunter, voodoo priest, sorceress, monk, and barbarian... in that order. Can't wait!
Looks like Diablo's non-stop face to face bash fests and send projectiles then runaway schemes have finally been removed completely. This should make for a far more interesting and entertaining experience. Personally I never made it even halfway past nightmare on Diablo 2 due to the monotony and repetitiveness of the combat styles. I also find the fluid motion of the game play here much more appealing.
I'm a big fan of diablo but the upcoming one doesn't feel/look like the ones before. It looks too much like warcraft with all the bright colors instead of the original dark tints. It had a much more mature feel to it. I really hope that they make it darker before release. I would be dissapointed if they wouldn't but the rest of what I see so far looks good.
Quarter 3 Beta!! Now maybe they will pick me for once. I never thought this game would be made. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, I must say being a long time fan of both original Diablo games, this looks to be everything I wanted in a new one.
@ Nikolajj - SC2 is not optimized AT ALL. Only hard-core fan will defend it and said it IS optimized...i run SC2 on GTX 275, which is PRETTY good graphic card and it is overheating in fre*king menu...so, stop idolizing Blizz, or anything...Have you own insight, not idol-one...Now, this looks cool, but, if they do what they did with SC2 ( NOTHING, but, nothing new ) i will pass and will not buy. SC2 is a failure, online bull and piracy battle, yeah right. i know people who are playing cracked version, and now what? Still piracy is active, but now i cannot play SC2 offline with my friend. Greedzard...i really hope Diablo 3 will offer something new and NOT have ret*rded "Space Tauren" WOW bulls... SC2 universe is SC2 universe, why the hell is Tauren there? Oh yeah, WoW...I mean, i am SURE in Diablo 3 there will be WoW stuff...they are becoming lazy, money driven company, which is a shame...
@Doomrul You never played many Blizzard games did you? Blizzard never gave us cutting edge graphics, but highly optimized games. Allso, I myself love SC, best RTS ever... but you just cant compare them, its two defrent styles of RTS games, love them both.
this looks like crap with all the cartoony sci-fi guns and lasers. It's like Diablo in space. I think i may get an epileptic seizure watching this.
WHEN IS THIS GAME COMING OUT?! I REALLY WONT CARE IF THEY FIX BUGS AFTER THE RELEASE I WOULD STILL BUY IT WITHOUT COMPLAINT....i remember when i was in 4th grade when diablo first came out...wizard class....epic..but now i almost had a kid...twice...its been that long...and what im trying to say is...coat hangers are awesome...
Looks amazing and can't wait! My only concern is that during the demo's it just seems to be constant spamming of skills and abilities. Is this just to show them off during the demo's or is the game going to be like this?

This game is going to be great! Contender if out in time for game of the year :) Noticed Play com's preorder price now has gone up to 31.99 where as on Amazon its 23.47 still so I put my preorder on Amazon while its still consideribly lower! Watching this in high def on my widescreen looks real nice.
i hope this one's controls are more like actiony instead of clicking where you want to move.
@m_bd89 : The combat is not more complex then Demon's souls LMAO you have tons of attacks single handed attacks dual hand attacks, dual weapon attacks, not to mention the fact you can even dual wield shields is crazy. I'm not even mentioning magic or faith systems. Diablo 3 is a top down space shooter combat mixed with dungeon crawling i.e: 1:18 shoots a single shot from his space can.... I mean cross bow, at 2:45 shooting a wide spread shot out his cross bow, and 2:54 they barrel role.... I mean evasive roll to get out of the way rinse and repeat that for hours boring! I had trouble just watching the video! But you love the simple spamming of the attack button and the occasional dodge out of way well then enjoy the game. BTW Dungeon siege 3 looks like a much better experience then Diablo 3!
@krazeekhujo05 Oh yes the really complexe Demon's Souls fighting system of block, parry and 2 types of attack. Don't get me wrong Demon's Souls is great and since I heard about Dark Souls I restarted playing it. But you're calling Diablo's combat boring for what reason exactly? Since you can do a lot more than what you're able to in Demon's Souls, you don't really make sense. And good job on the personal attack! Makes you look a lot more mature than me, truly.

i stop waiting for this game for sometime now,you know when you are thinking about something the time,seems to go by faster,so whenever this game release,it release....then i ad it to my collection of the rest of them great games.
The combat looks so dull and thats too bad, because everything else looks great. Anyways PC can have this game I would go to sleep with combat that boring!
I love the first 2. This looks pretty cool. I'm assuming the strange looking, almost transparent animations are still in alpha.
@botroo3 Geez you really broke it down uh? I haven't seen nor heard of anybody hacking the PS3 to play online for free.
@Da4biddenOne this game would suck if released on consoles...first you ll split the Diablo community,second i am pretty sure my ps3 will Ylod the first week this game is out,third it will definitely suck using a game pad..this game needs a mouse and lastly both the 360 and the ps3 have been hacked millions will pirate it on consoles and still have online play..i know there's no way to log in PSN atm using a hacked PS3 but the hackers ll always find a way back but on the PC there no way you can play online without buying it also noway to mode the game or hack it in anyway on Bnet servers.

Q4 2011? Why is this taking so long! By the time this comes out there wont be and Diablo 1&2 fans alive. Its almost like that Duke Nukem game that is NEVER going to come out.

Yes, it looks great. Yes, it's nice there is another class. Yes, we're already your slaves, Blizz. FFS get it done and released already. Preferably without saying "whoops, there's just too much for one release, so we're splitting into multiple games".

@Zealot85 If you don't even like the game, there is no point whatsoever in commenting. Diablo is one of the greatest games available on PC. This video looks fantastic. I can't wait for the release..
