I pre-ordered the game and i have indded started playing but i feel that we need a review from a profesional in order to pin point if this game really lives up to the title!!
Reviews in a nutshell ;
9.0+ = ''Paid review ...''
8.0~ = ''LOLZ , Giving x game a 9.0 , but give this a 8 , WTF GS ''
7.0~ = ''OMG Haters , never gonna come here again , noob reviewers ''
Play the game and get your own opinion , cause in the end , reviews = opinions .
one of my most played game of all time is the monster hunter serie on PSP , and that game got horrible reviews .

GS will have a hard time giving the score. 1 reason to delay the main stream reviews
its a good game if you never played D1 or D2 or anything that has plenty of numbers in it.
while D2 gamer will hate it cos, blizzard just remove all the core elements of what gamers like about D2
overall if everything is working fine it should get a 6.5/10. I sincerely dont think it could do any better than 7.0/10 for 2012 standards when D3 just rip ideas (the good and bad) from other games.
And the reviews start trickling in to meta critic. It's clear now which sites are sell outs. It's not as bad as I mentioned a post ago, but it's definately not worth 90%, nor 80%. And to not compare the game to any other game is to treat it as though it's the only game ever made. I concur with the 7.0. A small scale isometric World of Warcraft set slightly in the Diablo universe. Good for what it is, but definately not a finished product.BludshedX
I subscribe. This game doesn't deserve more than 8 and this if we dont add the DRM and the RMAH "features" to the review. It's disrespectful and unfair to other game developers. Titan Quest received a 7.9 from Gamespot 6 years ago. I'm realy curious to see what they will give to Diablo 3.
For me its a 7/10, its still a great point and click, hack and slash game and the atmosphere is great but more than 10 years under development and the story is around 20 hours long its just nt acceptable. About the always online drm i'm not afraid to say i hate it, its nothing bad for some will say coz they will hav constant internet connection while playing the game, for me i hav 4 of my family members each owning a laptop and they often watch videos and play online games everyday so i cant use the internet everytime, so it just seems unfair for me, if i hav to play a single player game to be always online, i would rather play a real online game, at least i dont need to pay so much for it.
What's the hold up with the review? I guess they're waiting for the check from Blizzard to clear.
You know I'm so tired of all these half finished games coming out before they're ready. I expected better from Blizzard honestly. And this whole online fiasco...I can understand they want to protect their game from piracy but surely there are better ways. The more I hear about this game the less I want to buy it. I imagine a few expansions are in development if the story is that short but I'm so totally over Blizzard.
It sucks. 3 out of 10. But best thing in the genre though that's recent until Torchlight 2 is released. There you go. I've dedicated a lot of my time to gaming since the good ol' NES days in the mid 80's, so my review is just as credible as any game site/mag. Anyone who gives it a 90%+ is full of something or receiving money under the table from someone. It's borderline arpg and casual/social loot farming. Dispute that all you like but that's what it is.BludshedX
Obvious troll is obvious.
I never made it through Titan quest. It seemed to get boring to me pretty quickly. For some reason this game is a lot more fun even though the graphics aren't that much better. Something about the gameplay and story are more enjoyable for me. I found the first part of the game that consisted of the beta to be really boring, but once I got past that it seemed to get more interesting and fun for some reason. I can see a lot of replay ability in this game already. I would also like to see what the professionals think. I'm going to keep playing regardless, but it will be interesting none the less.
