Its easy,. if dark souls 2 comes out and is dumbed down, i will have a hissy fit.
The thing is , i am not waiting eargerly for it like i did for d3 , heimdall.
Just like heimdall was a pretty decent roleplayer for its time. Do you remember playing it?
I had it on the amiga. Heimdall 1 and 2.
Probably before your time, kiddo?
No need to be offensive...
Actually, for a moment I decided not to buy D3. Just decided to buy it because my old PC died on me and had to buy a new one, so I went and bought D3. If not, I'd be still with my old PC and would have never touched D3. Maybe when the PS3 version came out.
Besides, I didn't play the game you mentioned because I was more of a console gamer, so I'd probably be playing Frostbite, Megamania or Moon Patrol in my 2600 by that time. I only got my first PC when I was already 15.

Once again I feel compelled to ask, what exactly is a POEser? Someone who plays Path of Exile? Someone who posts about it? Someone who realizes its superior to D3?
If I had to guess it would be someone who likes PoE but pretends their opinions are superior than other peoples.

Previous rank 5 all time in the world Capture the Leader/Guardian Gears of War 3. Official fiancee of Naoto Shirogane( it's canon too) - Mar 3, 2013 1:40 pm GMT""Oh yes, I did, but you probably just ignored it. I've made several complaints about things I disliked in D3, created several topics about suggestions which l later sent to the D3 boards, and posted many times the reasons why I keep playing this and not other game such as PoE.
But it seems that "personal taste" doesn't fit as a reason of why I like the game."
I don't read/reply to every single topic on this board (unlike some trolls/fanboys in this topic), so if I didn't reply to yours it's probably because I either didn't see it or simply didn't have anything worthwhile to add. Though I do find it odd that someone who can discuss various shortcomings of this game would sit here and whine about "haters" (because let's face it, there are plenty of reasons to complain), so I find it likely that your topics weren't what you make them out to be.
And no, "personal taste" isn't a valid reason to like this game in given context because it doesn't foster any actual discussion, it's just a fancier version of generic cop out "it's my opinion so I can be wrong!" - Mar 3, 2013 1:50 pm GMT^^^ lol discussion. what is there to even discuss. you either like it or don't.

Its actually disappointing that most of us you label a "troll" are on a completely different echelon than you and your cronies. You are an embarrassment my friend. I implore you to revisit definitions because however you define the event that transpired in your sig, you misunderstood. Ironically enough, anyone who actually reads it will only laugh at one person.
For the sake of not continuing to look increasingly more moronic, you should stop posting. Nothing good, funny, insulting, insightful ever comes from it. The only "anger" you elicit is the anger that comes from the realization that people with criminally low IQs can post.

It is when it comes to a feature that pleases one but not to another because of the feature itself, not because of the way it was implemented.
Let's take for example the lack of a "skill tree". Some people say the game sucks because a skill tree doesn't exist. I say the current system works because it doesn't lock you into one build or forces you to reroll. While I can agree that some of the skill runes are lacking compared to others, I really can't come here and say the skill/rune system is a failure.
Therefore, as I like it l, can say it's a good feature.
Another example: the lack of "customization" due to automatic distribution of stat points. I really couldn't care less about automatic stat distribution, because in the end I'd go "STR and DEX for gear, rest in VIT". But there are no item requirements so I'd just split stats evenly between STR and VIT, which is basically what D3 does.
Therefore, as I like it the way it is, I can say it's a good feature.
...and I can keep doing this for all aspects of the game. In the end the "goods" will be more than the "bads" and it would sum up in the game being "good". But, as you should have noted by now, this is, indeed, based completely in "personal tastes".
Besides, the whole "like" or "not like" is completely subjective.

What is POEser supposed to evoke? Loser? Poser? The entire insult is lost on me. Unlike clever digs like "Nintenyearold" or "Xbot", "POEser" just isn't funny, clever, or insulting. Its just indicative of how unintelligent your average Diablo 3 fan is, and how little of them actually played Diablo 2 to any varying degree. Its games like Path of Exile that are good for the gaming industry as a whole, and for you simpleton to lambaste it simply because its too difficult/in-depth/complex is perplexing to say the least. This Call of Duty generation truly marks a whole new low as far as "lowest common denominator" is concerned.
I understand this inherit need to defend your 60 dollar purchase, but you should realize how insane you all look from the outside looking in. Its the same few people who rush to D3's defense as if Blizzard themselves paid you. And oftentimes these "trolls" you guys are quick to call are more insightful, witty, and intelligent than the Diablo 3 Defense Squad. When you have developers apologizing for Diablo 3, official forums in hysteria, and websites publishing negative articles concerning the community and their reactions to all of Blizzards gaffes (Playstation version has offline play?).
Nobody truly knows. The fact that nobody replied to this insight proves your whole "Diablo 3 fan" theory correct though.
A witty comeback that seeks to assert your superiority or greater status will backfire because it will turn into a matter of the other person insisting that "you think you're too good for me", and so forth, and once you're in this type of argument, things spiral ever out of control. It is hard to walk the fine line between being witty and snobby but the key factor is to retain your sense of humor and to see the funniness or the triviality of the situation. If you're responding in anger or hurt, then you're responding from the wrong part of yourself. If, on the other hand, you're responding with amusement and humor underlying your approach, then you'll lose the superiority complex and find the right thing to say.

You lost me at "witty". The retort in question lacks any substance present in other popular play on words. Its obviously a lowbrow term coined by a lowly individual attempting "wit". That isn't even my issue either. The issue is some actually think this term causes any sort of emotional response. It truly doesn't. I can't imagine anyone not smirking off this half-baked attempt at humor/insult, much less a POE player.
Call them elitist, shut-ins, hardcore, permavirgins, etc. These insults may cause a ping of hurt ego since they bypass the obvious mental superiority they have and directly attack their physical state. That is trolling in the classic sense. This "madcow" fellow actually has convinced himself and..some other sterling fellows that they are adequately suited to dealing with or insulting these supposed "trolls". They aren't. His old sig was indicative of his lack of reading comprehension. He has since changed it to a even less suitable one.
At least you are able to articulate beyond the level of a 6th grader. Such a pity you waste your mind on a game tailored for the unwashed masses who cycle between Farmville, Black Ops 6, and Diablo 3. Much more of a waste that you defend it in spite of what it represents.
