The game was highly addictive at first but as of lately the online server has been "taken over" by spambots.

I have been playing this game since about 2002. The game was very hard to finish but very addictive. I lost my game disc around 2007 and just recently purchased a new and have been playing again for about a year now. I have noticed an increase in on-line game lags and, what is even more frustrating, the fact that spam-bots are everywhere filling the playing screen with advertising for the various .coms selling equipment. They have taken over the main chat channel, the public games, and even the chat supposedly reserved for chatting privately with friends. The game is now unplayable on-line in my opinion and thus the reason for the low rating and being classed as a waste of time. Blizzard has put filters in to let players filter these bots out but somehow the bots have gotten around these filters. It is really annoying to be in the middle of a big battle and have your moniter screen filled with advertising from several spam-bots that roll by at an unreadable pace. I have had 6 bots appear at one time.
