Scrap this one and pretend it never happened.
I was on Franklin St. in Chapel Hill when the Tar Heels won the championship in '05. Unfortunately couldn't make it for the repeat in '09.

Sure you can! Just use AutoHotkey. If necessary use XPadder too.

you probably could with he right keyboard/mouse to gamepad mapping programs (aka, make the computer think the right trigger is the right mouse button, that sort of thing)...but.. why would you want to?

Well, if you could do it right, which you probably couldn't, you could set things up so that the left analog stick controls character movement while setting up the d-pad and two left shoulder buttons to control key bindings. After that rearrange the left click on the mouse to be shift+left click and playing the game might just become a lot faster or at least more fun.
Presuming of course that you can bind small enough mouse movement and click combinations to the analog stick and that you can get used to working with a game pad and mouse combination.
It'd be interesting to look into at least. It'd make Diablo II feel like a somewhat more modern game that lets you shoot indepentantly of your movement. Of course that's not necessarily a good thing since it takes a bit of practice and coordination to run in one direction while shooting in two or three others.

Xpadder is my favorite keyboard to controller mapping tool.

I don't suppose anyone knows if it's possible to be able to put a Paladin's active aura on the left hand mouse button, so that you can attack and move by clicking on the right button? I ask because my right trigger finger is more sensitive then my right middle finger. It hurts to hold it down on the mouse pad for long periods of time, which you're gonna get with a Paladin who is a zealot in my experience. Well, and just anyone in general.

Umm what!?!?! Why are you holding down the right click button with an aura? The aura automatically does its thing without you doing anything more but putting it as the active skill.
Also if your trigger finger does hurt, you have 2 other fingers that you could potentially use to hit the right click. Besides how are you using the computer in the first place if your finger hurts. You could also switch to left handed.
Not sure if you are trolling or actually serious because that is a fairly default thing that anyone using a pali should know.

Perhaps you should read better. I asked if it was possible to put the active aura on the left side. Normally it's on what you would click for your right hand mouse button. If it's on, you can't use the mouse button. You can click it all you want but you won't run anywhere etc. It's alot harder to use other fingers you know, and I can't use it left handed as I'm right handed. It just doesn't work, I've tried.
I said my right finger hurts after extended periods. If you're constantly clicking a button and holding it down to move etc. you do the figuring. It's not rocket science.

AFAIK you can't do something like that without using a mod or plugin, and the only plugins I can vaguely recall that might have done that were with D2Loader which, again AFAIK, hasn't worked since 1.13 first hit.

@Waffen8888, dude you said right finger referring to the RIGHT hand. Logic states that would mean your middle finger, hense my suggestion to use the ring finger instead to right click.
If you instead meant pointer, sorry, you kinda didn't specify that and left people to guess which one you were referring to.
If it hurts to put .01 psi of pressure on a mouse button for an "extended" period of time, it sounds like you lack finger strength or have broken your finger in the past. If it is the former you can build up your strength by using the squeeze grips. If it is the latter, you must re-train you finger to do the same work it was prior to the break. I am not trying to be mean in that, as I have broken my own finger and know how much of a pain it is afterwards and had to do a lot of work to get it feeling "normal" again.

Ok, I'm still not following you. You use a mouse using your middle and ring fingers? Not your trigger and middle fingers? That's insane. That would be uncomfortable to the extreme.
A normal person uses their trigger and middle fingers to operate a mouse. Their trigger finger being on the left button and their middle on the right. When I hear someone say finger, after specifically addressing the nature of it, I would assume the trigger finger. I don't know what you were assuming.

Bleh, super massive slow memory FTL. Waffen, find and download (from the official web-site) a program called AutoHotkey. You can use it to write macros whch affect key input and output letting you do such wonderful things as causing MMOs to think that pushing one mouse key is the same as pressing control and alt.
It's pertinent here because you could use it to swap the left and right mouse buttons. This wouldn't get auras on the left control button/spell area, but it would do what you want in a round-about fashion.
