Hard, addictive and stylish.
The gameplay is where this game shines. It's hectic and challenging combat all the way. Cool moves and weapons. Also occasional puzzles that brings variety to the gameplay. Awesome boss battles, most of them very challenging.
Graphics are awesome, fantastic environmental design. The character and monster design are great as long as you find cheesy 80's gothic imagery either funny or aesthetically pleasing. The monsters and characters are greatly modeled, and move with awesome animation.
Sound is good. Cheesy heavy rock, you gotta love it. Also good sound effects and ambiance tracks. The voice acting is as cheesy as the other parts of the game, which is good in a game like this.
This is by no means a game that takes itself too seriously. It's an entertaining and stylish game, with occasional cheesy voice acting and aesthetics. Fans of action games, and especially fans of games like Castlevania, will love this game. Style and cheesyness blended into a fantastic gaming experience.
