Awesome to the core action.

I've never quite played such a crazy action game in my entire life. This game makes battling with a sword and gun go together like candy and soda. The fighting is always intense, fun to watch, and fun to get into. There will never be a time in an intense battle where your thumb isn't touching at least 3 buttons. You play as Dante, a half demon, half human up-in-your-face dude. You've got to kill a bunch of demons before they enslave the world, AND stop your evil brother ,Vergil (accompanied by a bald headed mage, Arkham), from trying to take over your even more evil father's power. Although Dante is a demon himself, he prefers being human (which isn't what you'd expect from most demon related games). There are quite a few bosses in this game, all nicely voice acted, some story-related, some are there just for kicks. What did I not like about this game? Well, the bosses are completely out of whack when it comes to order of difficulty. Sometimes early bosses are extremely hard, and sometime the later ones you can beat without breaking a sweat. Sometimes they stick a puzzle in front of you (although they're fairly easy), when all you want to see are enemies being mutilated. The scenery never really gets too far away from the same dark feel. But over all, this is a great game to buy if your a action game type of guy or gal.
