This game is a fun and silly game... but when i first bought it i had no idea what devil may cry was but i still enjoyed it (so fans who don't understand the series can still play this game)..the game has at least 10 modes when you beat the game you have a chance to try the bloody palace mode which consits of 99,000 levels and every monster and boss you fought in storymode will be there and you can also try the dante will die mode beat that and you can try the heaven,
and hell mode which means one hit and your out so it gets pretty hard and even though you can only use 4 weapon at a time when playing as dante the monsters will still go down pretty easily you will gain weapons to use over time.
But since you have the special edition you get to play as virgil which means he can only weild 4 weapons..no gaining weapons but they are really powerful..now im not saying you have to buy this game but i highly recommend it,,if your not a fan of the series you will still enjoy it..dante and virgil also have unlockable costumes which have diffrent powers like one for instance has unlimeted demon powers..
But all in all this game rulez..plus the game has a kick ass soundtrack..and one of dante's weapons is a guitar! (yes a guitar im being serious!) how awesome is that?!? anyway the game is truly amazing probaly better then devil may cry 4..so i'd advise you to try it out..hope you enjoy it! ^_^
