Its Deus Ex 1 with 2008 graphics, just not as good.

This game is supposed to be about choices.
It goes like this:
Silently taking down every guy you find: lots of XP and Credits, annoying after 2 hours

Silently sneaking past everyone: less XP, no Credits, less annoying

Tranquilizing everyone: Somewhere in between, feels stupid

Going in shooting: Prepare to be killed a lot, even with robot implant armor you die very quickly. And since this is the hardest route anyway you get the least XP.

There are a few talking-your-way-through opportunities, they are quiet good.

Graphics are not great, weapon handling with the mouse feels off and you can't run very well so getting from sidequest to sidequest takes it's time.

It's not a bad game, even though the story is kinda predictable. But there are lot's of missed opportunities. Why are there no cool secret weapons to find? Or more ways to solve quests.
Why is hacking so annoying?
Why is there a place where I can hack 10 or so computers and none of them offers any gamechanging information?

In short: They took Deus Ex 1, gave it better graphics, fixed a few of the stupid things and added new stupid things.

They should get together with the people who made Divince Cybermancy and make a innovative new DE game.
