Thinking about getting this

Can anyone give me some feedback regarding this game? I want to pick it up but when I watch a review it shows it in first person and then in third person.. Does it switch? Or are people swapping it. And are the rpg elements mixed in well? I didn't care too much for mass effect (I know, shoot me!) but it was just too much dialogue for me I guess. How does this game match up?

This game is, first off, critically acclaimed as being amazing. The only short comings people had with it were the boss fights and to a lesser extent the ending. The game is in first person, however conversations and being in cover will be in third person. This game is an rpg shooter. The only comparison between Mass effect and this is that there are guns and rpg-ness to both. Other than than that you can't really compare the two. The rpg elements deal with upgrading Adam to fit your play style. This game can be played stealth or action oriented. It's totally up to you. I highly recommend getting the dlc Missing Link if you plan to get this.
