Destroy All Humans! is a 3rd person shooter set in 1959. The American government been running experiments to brainwash the public, until of course the aliens get involved. The main character, Crypto is on a mission to harvest alien DNA to save his species from extinction. Cypto's smart ass comments and want to "Blow stuff up!" makes for some fun gameplay. The storyline needed alot of work, and the travel system is far from good. Also if you die during a mission you fail the mission and have to start from the menu again, compared to it's sequel, Destroy All Humans! 2. Also the lack of multiplayer sucked. But the way you switch between weapons and the freeroam and menu was a big let down. There was alot of parts you won't like, most I can't explain. But this game was mostly very under cooked, but the rest was pretty good, anyhow it's a keeper. Whether you decide to be a DNA thirsty alien version of Jack the Ripper or an Extra Terrestrial hippie with guns, this game is one of the best alien shooters made. Some people may not like it. But hey, why not check it out.
