If you like Mars attacks or MST3K you will really appriciate this game.
Now you have your chance. The best part about this game is that it is unabashidly silly and over the top. It is a throwback to all the cheezy sci-fi horror movies of the 60's. The overwraught consperisy theories, impossible wepons and cheesy dialog are all there. The producers of the game embrace this asthetic and give it a kiss on its forehead.
Have you ever watched an episode of Mystery Science Theatre 3000? You know... the 2 robots and guy sitting in front of a movie screen making fun of a movie. The game's sence of humor is very similar to that, and in parts also remind you of Army of Darkness and Mars attacks as well.
The gameplay is relativly fun but does get a little redundent after a while. The saving grace is that people always seem to have something interesting to say to you so you will find yourself giggiling like an idiot pretty often.
Alex hit the nail on the head in his review when he said that the game itself is decent but it is the ambience and personality which really make it stand out. Although flying around in your saucer as an unbalenced homicidal alien blowing up national treasures has not been done to many times before.
