Well Bungie apparently has NOT done it again and made a really awesome fun game with a fun single player and a great mp which is what they are known for....Not even close. Bungie really must have gone through a lot of personnel changes since their last game because this doesn't look anywhere near Bungie's known quality and standards. I never thought they would release a game so mediocre that I'm not even tempted to play through the end!
Overall points:
Very dull boring story line...I cant even tell you exactly what it's all about it's rather vauge and uninteresting I just cant be bothered to go in detail other than the darkness is coming!
Graphically it's...ok but for next gen game yet again I'm very disappointed. There is no gore effects, no cool particle effects like realistic sparks and sound effects as you hit things with bullets, no interesting enemies they all sorta look and behave the same, no cool damage in the environment like the ability to destroy objects and buildings. It's overall just rather mediocre. Nothing good I will say this looks easily like last gen tech in fact I'm sure last gen tech could have made it look better than it does if they were to have focused on it and polished it up more, oh and all the levels look the same.
Music: Meh it's kinda the same thing as other sci fi mmo wannabe's just uninteresting, but not bad I will say but no where near as awesome as lets say borderlands or halo's sound tracks. Nothing much to say dont expect it to get your heart pumping thats all.
Gameplay: Hmmmm this is there stronger suit I guess but since everything is so bland and mediocre it doesn't save it, shooting mechanic works just fine, being able to level up and upgrade your character is cool, loot is ok but it just doesn't work when there are so few weapons in the game, if you want an awesome loot game play borderlands nuff said. So it got the basic gameplay down the game is playable just not...fun at all or becomes rather stale quickly as every mission no matter where you choose on the map looks the exact SAME. This is a bullshit game they hyped it up and they had to have known they were giving their biggest fans a crap game compared to what they could have done, I'm officially done with Bungie.
