Identical to the old game of the same name, so not quite as good considering the amout of time that has passed.

All these games were great. Shooting and gunning across the globe in a helicopter armed to the gills. Gameplay is pretty simple, you fly around in an isometric view and collect ammunition with a winch while picking up friendly stranded soldiers with an automatic ladder.

Missions are pretty simple because you generally just go to a spot and blow everything up. When these games were hot, the graphics were just awesome, my we have come a long ways. If you missed out on all the strike games, never to late to start.

Desert strike is all about cruising over the sands, which is really just a backdrop for the shared gameplay mechanics.
