Well this looks brilliant. The visual style and the script seem to work very well, and if its anything like a classic Lucas Arts game, then I like it already.

You know, when I heard "Guybrush Treepwood" my heart started beating faster. If this is half the quality of any of the Monkey Island games, count me in!

Bring on Deponia 2 :D

I've never played a point and click game that I can remember since I was like 5 playing Pajama Sam 2 (had to look it up), and I'm really interested in this type of game. This game looks like a great game to jump into, but I need an ending! So frustrating!

Guybrush Threepwood, without pirates.  Always love the humor of these games, (Monkey Island series) and the puzzles at times can be a little challenging.  (By the way should be a spoiler alert on this review, this guy revealing the end is a jerk)

Very much like old adventure games, the puzzles can be very unlogical at some points, bringing you to frustration and leaving you with your only friend - trail and error.

The good thing is that all mini-games, which in my opinion have no room in any game, are skipable.

@MICHAELBOIM I tried the game too and found it very frustrating too. I thought because it's a Teltale Game then it must be as good as the Monkey Islands series. I think the reviewer didn't like it either but he wants to be fair to an old school game.

Looks like a great game, but I think I'm going to hold off on this one until the conclusion.  Then I'll just pick up the whole story at once at not have to sit around waiting for the next episode.

er to be nit-picky the 'animation' does not look that great. however the 'Art design' looks top notch. I think thats what you meant to say mr. reviewer, the 'art design' or 'visual design'. Animation means the art of making things move, and frankly that doesnt look very impressive. any whoo :P good review! this looks really funny and fun to play.

I'm really glad point and click games have found a new renaissance. And it's good how Gamespot reviews a lot of these indie or downloadable games. I'm just hoping it heads stateside soon.

As for the abrupt ending, Deponia is part one of a planned trilogy.

@TerraMantis Let's hope it sells enough to get more games. I'm still waiting for Too Human 2 lol

@theJBlounge yeah I hate trilogy or even games with a sequel because if the game dont sell well you will never see the ending of it -.-Like a vampire story, alter ego,Memento Mori and so on...
