Takeshi hooks up with KVO to talk about his time with Demon's Souls and some new import releases of the past month. These include Dragon Ball Tenkaichi Daibouken, Armored Core 3 Portable, and Monster Hunter Tri.
Rizer all you have to do is put the game in...the great thing bout Wii and PS3 bro is that there is no lock on them systems....so you can play what ever you want
I've never imported before. Do you have to have some sort of special program downloaded on to your PS3 to do it?
Wow I really hope that in the next monster we could fight against humanoids of some sort (besides Felynes) but then Demons Souls and Monster Hunter will basically be the same game.
@Vasot : They are two completely different games. That's like comparing Diablo with a LOTR rpg. I'm sure Dragon Age will be awesome, its BioWare. But Demon's Souls is not like anything any system has. If you even slightly like RPGs you should be getting both and not be acting so childish comparing.
Also, @4:46 Lol it does look like Naruto...or more like Kakashi in Naruto's clothes. I'm not sure which armor set that is but that's definitely a Gravios gun!
Monster Hunterrrrrrrrrr!!! (I thought it was cancelled for good. I'm glad Capcom re-decided to release a US version!)
NoLifeGamin its actually not that expensive getting import on ebay, I got mine for $79AUD incl postage. Normal new release in Aus are between $79-$119
Wow! "Import Friendly" is like the best show you guys produce (coming from somebody who works in television production)! Keep up the good work! Can't wait for MH3! 2010 can't come quickly enough!
Support this game people! Only really tough and atmospheric games like this can satisfy the hard-core gamer. Down with casual play! Power to the hard-core!
@Takeshi-GS the episodes are brilliant thanks alot i have a favor to ask can you import the new persona 3 portable game (p3p) pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee?
this is the kind of monster hunting game i like its fits my format of game playing it als o look kool i a think i saw naruto to lol
deamon souls seems somuch better than what i expected but the question is,is it harder than ninja gaiden if not then there's no prob.
Hey everybody. Glad to hear you're enjoying the new episode. Here's how the show works. I show great games available overseas that you all might be interested in. Despite the name of the show, I don't only show games that are import friendly but also show games that might not be the most easy games for your typical non-Japanese speaking gamer to get into but still might be interesting or fun, or it could be a game that might be plain odd or strange that would be interesting for western audiences. The last part of the show introduces you to cool new import releases to keep you aware of what's going on outside of the country. All in the hopes that if it's a games you like, you can import the game and try to play it yourself or create enough interest and buzz around the game to make the devs consider releasing it in other regions. Or it could just be an early look at a game while we're all waiting patiently for a release over here. All in all, it's all meant to be entertaining. So keep on watching. Keep on commenting. And if there's any games you'd like to see, make sure to let me know in the comments. With Tokyo Game Show right around the corner, we'll be up to our gills to bring you the best event coverage you've come to expect from GameSpot. We'll be taking a little break but have no fear, we'll be right back on the job in no time to satisfy your import needs. Thanks for watching!
@Kleeyook I guess you dont watch this segment to much, but they just announce great games only available over seas and the Wii can be modded or you could own an imported Wii itself.
Umm. How could DB TD and MH3 be import friendly? They are all on Wii. And Wii games are region lock unlike PS3 and PSP. :(
Im glad Kevin Mentioned the Kings Field series, he's the first guy ive actually heard mention it when talking about Demon Souls, no wonder i like him so much.
when the game comes out the differculty will be lowered drastically. if it was hard at all. therefore its gonna be a pass
Demons Souls doesn't look so good....The other games are ok,but i thought that demon souls would be very good and it doesn't,the gameplay :S !!God of War is so much better...c'mon...
Demons souls looks awesome, finally an rpg, with a challenge, can't wait to get stuck into that. Does anyone know if Monster hunter will be going onto the PS3?
i want monster hunter 3 NOW! unless it turns out 2 have crappy motion controls, which it better not have!
wow nice game...and a new aspect which shows other users last moment's great!!and check out that weird-three-eyes boss. and man armored core 3 rocks!!!!
@Gelugon_baat Nice one pointing that out xD Demon's Soul Look Awesome, Its difficulty will be challenging will I adore in games... so I won't finish the game like in a week =] Demon's soul appeal to be more cost-effective ... But, I will wait till comes out
