Great Game! Hated the World Tentency thing though.

I always played as warriors and knights...how is the game if you use mostly magic? Much harder?

@Arda_Daghan212 White world and black world tendecies have their own perks. In pure white tendecy, the worlds are much easier. In pure black tendecy, more black phantoms appear, and they are much harder to defeat. Plus you get bonus weapons when you kill them. For instance, when you kill Scirvir(BP) you get the talismen of beasts catalyst which allows you to to cast magic and miracles at the same time.

What's the difference between white world and black world tendencies except of appearences(sorry the speakers are out so i dunno if anyone's speaking and explaining the whole thing in the vid)

this is bs because u have to be in body form by using a stone of epheremal eyes and then die 5 times to shift a world towards black. if u die in soul frm in a region it will not shift towards black

Yeah, never got the chance to know what tendency was all about, now that I know i don't have my PS3 so i'm fuk hahaha

"...for every action you make there is a light or dark reaction..." hmm no that's not true. there are CERTAIN actions that have consequences for the tendencies. well u always get pure white world tendency eventually by just killing the bosses (except if u constantly revive n die, which is pretty stupid unless you want to reach...) pure black world tendency, which is achieved easily by just killing yourself in bodyform in that world. that just takes a few stones of ephemerals eyes (no more than 7). well, what the heck am i writing about. this guy's right with his facts, he just presents them to artful or fantasy-y. check the demon's souls wiki for all you need to know. n yeah, lots of spoilers there so beware...

I managed to import this and i can honestly say it is one of the BEST RPGs on ps3, fantastic game.

Excellent game. I had to import it from the USA cause its not seen the light of day in England. Not too worried about tendencies. Doesn't seem to make a whole load of difference. Definatly GOTY for me.

To the guy that posted that link about world tendency-very infomative. Unfortunately, that is the problem. SPOILERS! This is a huge warning for people who want to find out what suprises there are on their own.

WoW stumbled upon this and am totally amazed, before seing this i was going to buy the Dragon Origins game, but after reading and watching this and the review, this game to me is a must have as an RPG fan, at the moment I play Oblivion GOTY & Fallout 3 GOTY, both great games maade by the same people, this game is soo different and needs much more skill and less reading quests and NPC chat, which means more fun, also had fast gameplay, honestly i cant wait, just hope it is great not Hype :)

Ya, im still confused about the tendencies even after beating the game lol.

@Nosnitsttam Go to area 4. If you complete that area you will be able to get mad amounts of souls. About 4000+ souls a minute

Great game! i like it

I like the game and all its systems... online, tendencies and leveling systems are all innovative and creative, but they're just not well implemented enough to be productive/counterproductive or manageable by the player. If there's a DS2, I hope they make it so its just as easy to get to black world tendency as it is to white. As it is, dying is a process I can do infinitely and that helps me get to black tendency, but once a boss demon is dead... its dead until NG+, which doesn't help me in my current game. Still a great game, though, just not GOTY material.

the game is hard and sometimes unfair (enemy attacks paralyze for far too long, etc.). i need more videos like this to explain more of the little things. it's neat that they've locked so much away like that. i just thought some things were impassable until i hit a higher level or something. its a slow process but i'm making my way through bit by bit. just cleared the first section of the prison and now going to kill the flame lurker in the second section of the mines. im very excited. after that im going to farm for souls. i can nab 3000 in boletaria palace in around 10 minutes.

I just bought the game 2 weeks ago. Havent played because I was finishing Uncharted 2. Now I will play this fine game. Hope is as good as this site says.

Game is so damn hard. It deserved game of the year by gamespot. Took me a month to find a copy of this amazing game. Two games ppl have to own from last year. Dragon age and Demon's souls.

I'm on my 3rd going on 4th time around and i'm still fight new things out

I am having problems with this video. The video is buffered but it still lags.

I never quite understood/put the time into world tendency manipulation.. probably missed some cool stuff.
