this game reminds me a lot of the elder scrolls: oblivion.

My friend has the chinese version ( its still in english) and he says its very very hard.... and he has played alot of hard games :P

From someone who already owns this game, I can without a doubt say that DS is easily one of the best next gen RPG's in the past three years. All hail Demon's Souls!

I am so getting this game just because it reminds me of the old KingsField Series (which was also quite challenging but this one? Holy crap it sounds freaking hardcore...i like it already!) and is made by From Software as well. Glad to see that finally there's a Ninja Gaiden of Action RPG's, and if anyone was to do it, I'm glad it was from them. Can't wait until the NA release, the 6th please come faster! (Also because OF: DR is coming on that day) :D

it isn't similar to GOW at all. i have the chinese version and trust me, it plays nothing like GOW. still a really awesome game though

I would love to know about the backstory, especially the reason for why the players (the seemingly unnamed protagonists in the story) can leave each other hints, or provide some ghostly death animations to warn other players. This game would be the death of FAQs, strategy guides and walkthroughs.

All the blurbs and yakking from people who have played the import versions suggest that this game is punishingly hard, yet tempts the player with tremendous rewards from overcoming severe challenges. This game is NOT for the weak-willed.

I wish this was going to the PC. Co-Op. EFF YEAH! A guaranteed purchase here!
