Demon's Souls is absolutely one of the best exclusives on the PS3 and one of the best RPG on this generation
Anyway lets start talking about the game. Demon's Souls is one of the hardest game on the PS3 and it make PS3 owners proud with their console just because how awesome and unique this game is. It's a VERY rare game to find these days, new gamers will see the difficulty o the game as a pointless crap while old school gamers (like me) will appreciate the hardness of this game. Not much about the story but it feels original just like all Japanese games, a crazy old king consumed the soul of a demon, demons brought to the world and started destroying and killing everything. Many warriors and knights came to stop the demons and non of them returned. You're just like any other warrior who came dreaming about defeating the demons and protecting the world. The game doesn't say that you're the chosen one neither do the game treat you like one which make it a unique experience. You start by creating your own character and choosing a class, however it don't matter since you ca later customize your powers as you like. The graphics are amazing and the unique and dark world make you feel very afraid of what can come next. Every single enemy even the zombies which you fight in groups can deal a good amount of damage if your shield is down. Bosses are like nothing in any other game and they're HARD to kill, it'll take you long time to power your character and get enough items before your next fight. The game offer different environments and every place you visit feel totally unique. There are some rare items, weapons and armors you can ind but in most cases they're protected by tough enemies that feel like fighting a boss but once you put your hands on the item you'll forget all about trouble you've been through. Every time you make a mistake the game punish you really HARD but it never feels cheap, every death you go through is because of you and not because the game cheated. Although the mouses of characters don't move while they're speaking but you'll just feel in love with every person you meet in the game, at least they're the only creatures that doesn't try to take your soul out of your body. The game will take you about 40 - 50 hours to finish it for the first time (it took me 46 hours) after that the game (without asking you) will return you from the very beginning to start playing for the second time with all your gears, souls and items but surely with HARDER enemies.
Demon's Souls is a very special game, it's a HARD game that every hardcore gamer should play it. You'll just feel in love with it. By this time the servers of the game are down so you should take this into consideration but I played it offline and it actual feels even harder when you're alone in the dark corners of the demon's world.
