Despite the claims of this game being too difficult this game is worth a look and well worth your money and I'll tell y.

When I first received Demons Souls I was very excited and a little unsure because I had read review after review to see if I should buy this game and the results were always extremely varied. Well needless to say within the first 15 minutes of playing the game I was walking around my room swearing because I had died in a most infuriating manner. But as I've continued to play I realized how good this game actually was. This game is absolutely stunning the environments look great and its jaw dropping to look out across the massive landscapes presented. Also this game really has no shortage of appealing landscapes and it has everything from unnerving dark tight corridors to wide open plains and castle courtyards littered with countless bloody thirsty foes.

OK now onto game play, I know this game is criticized for being too hard but that's where people are completely wrong. Yes this game is very hard but it makes it feel very worth while when you accomplish something, and this game is downright bold due to the fact it does not stop challenging you the entire game. Through and through this game stays true to its roots and gives gamers an experience unlike no other, because this is not a hack and slash game for mindless gamers, this is an amazing RPG that takes quick reflexes, knowledge of what weapons to use in what situation, and knowledge of your play style and character to know which type of character you'll be most successful with.

Although I have not personally tried all the character classes I have tried enough to tell you that Demons Souls has arguably the best variation of classes to pick from for any game. Although some classes may give you a slight advantage when you begin the game you aren't restricted in anyway to follow that characters tendencies for the remainder of the game. Like Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion your character is truly what you want it to be, because as you progress you are able to shape your character into anything you can imagine.

On a closing note I'll admit that I have not spent that much time with Demons Souls but it was love at first death lol (which happened very quick, and no I don't mean when you die in the tutorial lol). This game may scare away some gamers because it is a test of patience and skills, but I urge anyone looking for arguably the greatest RPG and possibly game of all time to go buy it immediately. This game may not be for everyone but it truly is for real gamers who are tired of the monotonous hours spent blowing through games that don't present a real challenge. This is truly a great game and by itself is enough of a reason to buy a PS3, and quite honestly the gaming experience of a life time.
