Just started playing and have a couple minor questions:
1. Haven't seen any options to select difficulty or online/offline... why? I'm in the second area.
2. Thought there was a special item in the first area (more HP in soul form) but I never found it. I think I was supposed to lose that boss fight (one hit=KO) and I can't go back to the area. Did I miss out?

No difficulty setting and you can still get the cling ring from 1-1.

For online, being loged into psn activates it. If you want offline either dont log in or disable online from system settings.

If you missed some stuff in the tutorial level, there's no way to go back, but you're only missing out on weak healing items and some splinters+Vanguard's soul, who you'll see again later on anyway.

1) to get the stones for the Trophy of Hardness and the other trophies like that i need to kill "crystal Geckos" if I kill one, this crysytal gecko will respawn???how many minutes I have to wait???
2) in co-operative... exemple: if I die... and another player summon me and i go to his/her world...if we kill a boss I will get the trophy and the other player too???

the number of Crystal Lizard (Crystal Gecko in Asian version) equal to the number of the boss you had killed in this world + 1.
if there are extra count available, exit the world and return will trigger a respawn.
loading the game will trigger a respawn as well. take note that you better place yourself in a strategic position before doing that. be sure to wear a Thief's Ring.

i just started to play I've beaten about 3 bosses in the game but i ve noticed when ever i try too level my intelligence it doesn't go up in the wanderer
and was just wondering if anyone new how long till i reach level 10 i dont want to waist my levels

Need help! I died fighting the spider boss at the end of 2-1. I can't figure out how to get back there, when I get back to the elevator it's down at the bottom and if I drop off I die. What's the secret to getting back to the boss. I know I'm missing something really easy here.

a safe and cheap way to kill the spider is to use a bow. just after you entered the fog, go to the right side of the cave, touching the wall. you can fire from there at will. the fireball won't hit you as there is a rock on the right side of the cave blocking it. but you can still be hit by the spider web but you can eat grass to regen. you should be able to kill the spider with about 30 arrows depending on your stat and bow

You can do a different attack animation if you perform a light attack while sprinting.
I also saw a NPC black phantom do a different attack animation after a roll.
