Part 2 of the Demigod developer diary.
Why does the video start then suddenly end?
@ crazyleftykid: "interesting. looks unique. " Are you familiar with DotA? It is very, very much based on that and it kind of pains me to see it. Nothing personal to you, of course :P It's a map for Warcraft 3. I do like that this is a growing genre. If people want to make fast paced ActionRPGs, this might as well become it's own genre so (HOPEFULLY) we can see the RPG genre return to its origins, focussing on storyline, envornment and player involvement. We should probably make a term for it though, because RPG ain't it, nor is ARPG... HSG? Hero Strategy Games?
Gotta love a character that begins his attack saying "DIE!!!" And the game looks great... graphically. Still seems too shallow though. Not enough RPG. I don't see where I can take a character and over time make him/her stronger and stronger over several campaigns. That's the kind of thing I like.
A sacrifice for the Greater Good! :p I guess the look of this game is set, since he said it's the third beta. I do hope they fix up the pathfinding and AI. It is, quite frankly, horrible now.

Nice I don't have a gaming PC but this game really makes me want to get a new PC. Needs a little more polishing though.
