Demigod 101 (PC)

i actually think Hicks 1 has a good idea i just dont like how the grunts are like cows or whatever.

i would of liked it if this game had a better story, and more battlefield maps. By better story, i mean playing against the forces of hell on a battlefield earth and humans prove their worth

While it looks to have some interesting strategy aspects to it, I'd have to see some more and how it fares in the reviews. It looks like from this video you only control the demigod and not all the troops you get. If that's the case I am not sure how much excitement there would be in that.

It appears to be evolving rts into a more strategic form of gameplay as opposed to most other rts games which are moving towards a highly tactical style.

i guess i'm gonna have to wait until a review comes out detailing the game more.

Best Buy already has it listed at only $40. Stardock is pretty reliable for pricing their games at a good value.

30$. That's the most i'd pay for this.

"Assassin" means you control yourself against the enemy, rather than "General". Think of it not as an "Assassin", but as a "Solo".

All this is is a specialized DotA. Don't get me wrong I enjoy a good game of DotA every so often but I'm not sure I'm willing to pay 50 bucks for it when I could just wait for DoW II to get modded or just go play WC III. Just my Opnion though.

It's what, a week away from release? I want it to get better too, but I've never seen a game 'get better' seven days before release. Also, how is THAT THING an ASSASIN? If you get backstabbed by the Rook, you DESERVED to get backstabbed by it. >.>

Yeah, looks like a spin on that popular Warcraft 3 custom map, Dota.

Hm. This seems a bit... empty? You don't do much, there isn't much on screen in terms of the map.. it feels more like one of them Flash Tower Defense games, aside from the graphics.
